HOME FROM HOME

The central villa is the gathering place for meals and meetups, lounging and socializing, comings and goings, making plans, and the occasional work Zoom.

Most of the entertaining and dining is in and around this welcoming abode: breakfast in the conservatory dining room; lunch may be outdoors under the shady pergola overlooking the sea; dinner may be in either, or with pre-dinner aperitifs on the surrounding bougainvillea-covered terraces.

The spacious sitting room (with open fire for winter holidays) is perfect for the pre-meal aperitivo, relaxed presentations, or socializing with other guests. The office alcove is also available when work just won’t wait.

komito days

To the Sea

Descend the stone stairway from the main villa to this spectacular cove that is yours, and yours alone. Swim, snorkel, sun, read, relax, reflect on the day, or simply try to count the shades of azure that glisten before you (impossible). Looking for calmer waters? Choose the luxuriously serene infinity pool.

Terraces as expansive as the sea

Two expansive terraces embracing the villa invite sunning, dining, writing, yoga-ing, snoozing or enjoying a cocktail before dinner, all while overlooking the infinite blues of the eternal Aegean.

And for larger groups and wedding parties, the upper covered banquet terrace can seat up to 60 people comfortably

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is served

The airy, long conservatory dining area can accommodate from two to twenty. Its soaring arched windows overlooking the Aegean are graced by 4-metre fig trees and a tournament-ready backgammon table for before- or after-meal competitions (never too fierce).

You may also enjoy the Komito staff’s expertly catered meals on the villa terrace, under the shady pergola, and most famously, down on the cove – after ingredients are delivered from the villa by rope and pulley.

To the Lighthouse

To the Lighthouse

Whether early morning or before an evening aperitif, a walk up to the Lighthouse is invigorating without being too strenuous, rewarding visitors with incomparable views across the Aegean.

On clear days, the horizon opens up to nearby islands including Serifos, Sifnos, Naxos, Paros, Delos, Mykonos, and Tinos. Along the way, depending on the season, you may pass wild herbs in bloom, butterflies, birds of prey, and even the occasional friendly goat.

St Stefanos Chapel

St Stefanos Chapel

Legend has it that the chapel was built by a fisherman who was saved from the tentacles of a large Octopus after praying to the Saint to help him. Hugging the rocky cliffs above the sea, the tiny white chapel of Agios Stefanos is built into a natural cavern, with the rock itself forming its floor and ceiling.

Accessible by boat or via a rugged 30-minute pilgrim path, it is celebrated as one of the most picturesque cave churches in the world, renowned for its views and dramatic setting. It’s a truly a sacred space, remote and absolutely magical.

Komito Beach

Komito Beach

A golden sandy shore facing the islets of Stroggylo and Schinonisi across azure waters, Komito Beach is a secluded haven from autumn through spring, transforming in summer with a beachside bar serving drinks, snacks, and cocktails. Water sport facilities include scuba diving, snorkeling, and jet skiing, while spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed all year, a memorable end to the day.
